Impulse Water Meters Flow meters with pulse output are used to account flow rate and transmit the signal to the secondary control unit (dosing pump with a pulse input). Standard impulse characteristics of the flow meter are as follows: 4 imp/l, 1 imp/l, 1 impulse per 10 litres, 1 impulse per 100 litres.
